Anomaly Detection Research Intern

Implemented 10 supervised and unsupervised anomaly detection algorithms (Logistic Regression, K-Means, SVM, Isolation Forest, and others) from scratch in pure Python using OOP — each with documented time/space complexity. Generated synthetic datasets to profile edge-case behavior; authored a 15+ page technical report covering algorithmic logic and runtime trade-offs.

Built CNN models in TensorFlow for potato-plant weed detection on agricultural image data, achieving ~90–92% classification accuracy consistent with published benchmarks. Engineered full preprocessing and augmentation pipelines on large-scale Kaggle data; tuned hyperparameters to reduce overfitting and improve generalisation on held-out samples.
